About Us

Nautical Pride Sport Fishing runs catfish charters on the James River, Rappahanock River, York River and Kerr Lake (Buggs Island) year round, 365 days a year.

We are one of the best all around charters in the country for catching monster catfish. It was once considered a "rough fish" and is now quickly becoming America's favorite freshwater sport fish. It's no wonder as these fish can on occasion reach excess of 100lbs and are very commonly caught over 50lbs. It is hard to find another body of water with fish these size, anywhere in the country like you will here in our waters.

All bait, ice, tackle, rods and fishing license will be provided for your fishing trip and although we don't mind if you have a favorite fishing rod you would like to bring along, we will not be liable for any damages that may occur on our outing.

The Boat

We fish off of a beautiful 24' Sea Ark that is loaded down with everything you could ever need to catch a catfish. Plus you will stay comfortable while doing it, in any condition.

Rain, shine, or cold isn't an issue as we are equipped with a full encloser and a diesel heater with a thermostat to keep us fishing longer with less fatigue. We have air ride seats that help on those days that become a little sporty; and a fully sealed off windshield to keep the elements on the outside of the boat!

What You Need To Bring

Although we have amenities to keep you comfortable while on the water, you still need to take responsibility for the conditions at hand and dress accordingly! WATCH THE WEATHER.

We allow a smaller cooler for your drinks and snacks, as we do not provide those but please keep the cooler size in moderation (65qt or less). We do have a spacious boat but four guest with a large cooler or multiple cooler can make things tight quickly.

We do have dry access for additional items you don't need on hand at all times.

Alcohol is permitted in moderation as long as it is done responsibly. We would like for everyone to have a good time and relax but the first implication that someone on board may be a liability to operations the trip will end immediately.
